Helping the needy, furnishing the necessaries, feeding the hungry, distributing clothes , facilitating the assimilation of knowledge, providing shelter to orphans and geriatrics……….these form the aim of Swarnandhra Seva Samstha.
♢According to an SBI report, India will have 34 crore people above 60 years of age by 2050.
♢ The Share of population over the age of 60 in India is projected to increase to 20% in 2050 by UN.
♢About 80% of them lack job security and pension.
♢Around 60% of them cannot even afford a day’s meals.

SWARNANDHRA SEVA SAMSTHA
formerly known as Swarnandhra cultural association -1998
“Even the smallest of your contributions can make a big difference to other’s lives! Engage in social service! Help your fellow beings !.”With this notion , our organisation embarked on its journey in 1998 as Swarnandhra cultural association with an aim of helping the needy and in course of time, rechristened itself as Swarnandhra Seva Samstha.
》Distribution of 300 wheel chairs to the differently abled
》Upliftment of the facilities and conditions of government schools for the blind and the dumb .
》Dispensation of sarees,blankets,walking sticks and other necessaries.
》Free distribution of notebooks and school bags to poor students .
》Organisation of 1008 free Medical Camps across the district.
》Dispensation of blood to thousands of people and organisation of about 120 Blood donation camps with the kind support of our Donors.
》Helping the victims of fire accidents and natural calamities.
》Organising around 900 awareness campaigns on social issues.
》Conducting awareness programmes on mosquito eradication in collaboration with Eenadu,
》Extending extensive services to pilgrims during 2003&2015 Godavari pushkaralu.
OLDAGE HOME
The organization is running an old age home Since 15 Years. At Present, there are 27 Beneficiaries in the home. The age group of beneficiaries in the home is in between 50- 70 Years. The Beneficiaries have been provided with hygienic food, water, well clothing and accommodation. Every day we are providing Nutrition up to 300 Old Aged poor people.
TAILORING CENTRE
The organization is running Tailoring Centre with free of cost to the poor women for their self-employment. The span of training period is 45 days. For each batch there will be around 15-25 members. They will be certified after completion of their course. Nearly 7000 members are beneficed by our Centre.
TUITION CENTRE
The organization is also running tuition centre for classes 1 to IX without any fees for the sake of poor children. One tuition centre is at Swaranandhra old age home and another one at Housing board colony, Lalacheruvu.
OTHER SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
(a) The organization had conducted Free Eye test in medical camps for poor old aged people. After diagnosis, some are referred for Eye operation. For them, Paramahansa Yogananda Netralaya has operated without any cost.
(b) As a part of Environment protection, tree plantations have been made at Lalacheruvu Park and also at Municipal School, Lalacheruvu.
(c) Scholarships to Poor Students who are Pursuing Under graduation, Graduation and Post-Graduation.
(d) Distributed Clothes to Poor People.
(e) As a part of Awareness on Blood Donations, the organization conducted Blood Donation awareness campaigns and also Blood Donation Camps
