The Swarnandhra Seva Samstha is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation based in Rajamahendravaram, East Godavari,Andhra pradesh,India.Our organisation strives to ensure the well being of the disadvantaged.
Even the smallest of your contributions can make a big difference to others’ lives.”These words of our founder Shri Ln.Dr.Gubbala Rambabu have been guiding us through thick and thin ,while being committed to the goal of standing by the needy.
We acknowledged the greatness of the elderly. We understood the agony of those who were abandoned by their dear ones and hence held their wrinkled hands firmly to lead them towards happiness from hopelessness.Our founder who was deeply moved by seeing the strenuous work being done by emaciated old people decided to provide them with food and this marked the beginning of the formidable journey of Swarnandhra in 1998. Our activities got extended to cater to the needs of different sections of the society.Thus it emerged as the first recourse for the needy.We took up a multitude of social service activities like looking after the elderly,safeguarding their rights,free tuition for children,tailoring classes to encourage self empowerment of home makers,Wall of happiness program (collection of old clothes and distribution to the deprived),volunteer internship program,blood donation ,library, free medical camps ,she -drive (free driving classes),free computer classes, supporting the maintenance of the night shelter for the homeless and so on

To help women successfully tackle the problem of dearth of financial resources, Swarnandhra initiated free tailoring classes for women to enable them to be independent in economic terms. Till now,7000 women have received training and nearly 1000 members were given sewing machines.
